Calling all landlords for unique financing and “nightmare” landlording stories

During the past several weeks, two of my friends have developed a couple of common rental property issues. The first friend has a landlording issue, the second friend has more of a rental property owner issue. In other words, the first one is having problems with property management, specifically tenants. The other is having a challenge with financing a new property that he has his eye on.

I promise to tell you all about them in due time, but before I do, I want to appeal to your own storytelling side. I am gathering my thoughts together for the next issue of “the Landlord Business Insider” ezine that I mentioned in the last blog. As I started, I thought to myself, “Why not try to make it as interactive as possible by including stories of fellow landlords and rental property owners who read this blog?” We all know that one of the fastest ways to learn, is through the experiences of others. So, why not create an even more useful experience to those who rely on the How To Buy Rental Property Blog, the Landlord Business Insider and HowToBuyRentalProperty.com, by including comments and stories of visitors and subscribers who want to truly help each other succeed! By sharing your stories you can help yourself and others learn great techniques to succeed and just as importantly, help avoid doing the wrong things!

So, I’m looking for stories and “lessons to be learned” from your experiences, for the next issue of the Landlord Business Insider (anticipated February issue). In particular, for this issue I need landlording stories of how you have dealt with problem tenants. I also need stories of how you have creatively purchased property without putting a lot of your own money down. You can email these stories to me at landlord@howtobuyrentalproperty.com.

Back to my friends. The first one is having a major problem with a tenant who not only won’t pay the rent, but is threatening to sue the landlord! The second friend has discovered (with my help, of course) a simple way to buy properties for very little money down, over and over again. Although this technique won’t work for everyone, if you situation fits this criteria, it could be a dynamic way to build your business faster than you thought possible!

I will give you the full scoop on my friends and how they learned from and resolved their issues, in the next issue of the ezine. If you haven’t done so already, please sign up for your free subscription to the Landlord Business Insider, so that you get a copy when it comes out. For those of you who decide to send me stories, I will try to include as many as I can, but can’t promise I will include all of them. I will contact you by email with further information if I plan on using your story.

Since my last blog, I have added some additional information and educational resources to my Rental Property Owner/Landlord Resources page. Check it out to help solve the rental property business challenges you face!

Regards,
Steve
